Japan defender Takehiro Tomiyasu has joined Premier League giants Arsenal on 31 August 2021. The news came as a surprise because it was so close to the deadline, and the whole country was excited by the prospect of a move to a world-famous club.
But for some of you reading this article, you may not know much about Arsenal. So we’ve carefully selected seven of Tomiyasu’s team-mates to introduce you to. If you’re thinking of watching Arsenal in the future, this is a must-see.
Player 1: Aaron Ramsdale

First of all, let’s take a look at goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale. Ramsdale is only 23 years old, but he is a promising player who has been selected for the England national team. Like Tomiyasu, Ramsdale moved to the club this season and has quickly taken over the position from German international Bernd Leno.
Ramsdale’s strength of character comes from the fact that he is a 23-year-old who is a little intimidated by the prospect of playing in the Arsenal goal, but the England goalkeeper shows no sign of being intimidated. He keeps his cool in the face of danger and encourages his fellow defenders with a loud voice. He is the next generation of goalkeepers, with excellent saves and great skill with his feet.
The card is not yet available on sorare, but when it is, the price is sure to skyrocket.

Player 2: Ben White
Next up on our list is England centre-back Ben White. White is another promising youngster with a bright future ahead of him. Like Ramsdales and Tomiyasu, White is another player who has come through the Arsenal ranks this season. He plays mainly at right-back, next to Tomiyasu.
White is often criticised on social media for “not passing to Tomiyasu at all! White has often been criticised on social media for not passing to Tomiyasu at all. It’s true that when Japanese players move to foreign clubs, they often don’t get a pass (not because they are discriminated against, but simply because their ability is not recognised). White, however, is a little different. The English defender is always looking for the vertical pass. That’s why he doesn’t simply pass to Tomiyasu at the back. This is a centre-back who contributes not only in defence but also in attack.
We don’t have a player page on sorare yet. Once the page is up and running and the cards are on sale, the price will no doubt skyrocket!

Player 3: Kieran Tierney

Scotland’s attacking left back, Tierney comes from the Scottish Celtic lower league, and in an interview as a boy he said that he admired Shunsuke Nakamura, who also played for Celtic. Like the former Japan legend, Tierney’s strong point is his accurate left foot, which allows him to use his speed to break vertically and deliver accurate crosses. As well as his attacking ability, he is also a tenacious defender and often plays at left-back in a back three for Scotland, where he plays alongside world-famous left-back Andrew Robertson of Liverpool.
The Scotland left back is known for being a common man, which is unusual for a footballer these days. While other players use branded bags as their travelling bag, Tierney’s photo of him using a Tesco (a common British supermarket) shopping bag was a hit on social media.
The cards are not yet available on sorare, but once they are, we’re sure the prices will soar.

Player 4: Thomas Parti

Ghana international Parti, who moved to Mi from Atletico Madrid last season, is an all-round midfielder with a strong physical tackle and technical ability that you wouldn’t expect from his appearance.
Arsenal have struggled this season, finishing 11th in the table with four wins, one draw and three defeats from their eight official games, but the Ghana midfielder has been unbeaten in the games he has played, winning four and drawing one. Arsenal have been struggling for a striker since the departure of former French World Cup winner Patrick Viera (now manager of Crystal Palace), but Parti is the most complete striker since Viera. Despite his injury problems, he is a strong midfielder who can bring stability to the midfield when he is fit.
The Arsenal card is not yet on sale, although the Atletico Madrid card is on sale at sorare.

Player 5: Emile Smith Rowe

A midfielder from the lower divisions, Smith Rowe made his first start of the season last December against Chelsea, providing one assist, and quickly found his place in the team. Since then, he has continued to develop and despite being only 21 years old, he has been given the ace number 10 this season. Arsenal’s number 10 has been worn by the likes of Dutch legend Dennis Bergkamp, Robin van Persie and former Germany international Mesut Özil. Listening to this, you can see just how much they are expecting from Smith Rowe.
The England Under-21 midfielder is neither very fast nor has a great technique (although he does have above average speed and technique). So why does he play number 10 for the big club Arsenal? Smith Rowe’s main asset is his positioning. He is a clever midfielder who is always thinking about how to make the most of his teammates and how to make them uncomfortable. He is the next generation of midfielders and we will be keeping a close eye on him.
